Wilma Wydro

Wilma Kanosfky Wydro, of New Hope, PA, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. She was 77 years old.

Wilma was the beloved wife of the late James Wydro. The couple shared many years of love, family and friendship.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Wilma was one of two daughters of the late Joseph and Esther (Resnick) Kanofsky.

Wilma was inspired and dedicated to everyone in her life. Her personality was calm and mentoring. She most enjoyed her relaxing time unwinding with a good book, whether it was sitting in her recliner in the living room or on the front porch, listening to the birds and admiring the atmosphere she was surrounded by. Worthington Insurance Company was a very important part of her career for over 20 years. Traveling was always on the family agenda, especially the yearly visits to her favorite retreat in the Pocono Mountains. In between her daily routines, she always made time to volunteer at many charities and coordinating functions, including being a girl scout group leader, cat shelters, M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Druck Driving) and organizing a lot of events at Buckingham Springs, where she resided.

Wilma will be missed tremendously by her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Ed Barr. She is also survived by her sister Judy Kanofsky.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Wilma's family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 6:00pm, until the start of her Celebration of Life service at 8:00pm, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Road) in Richboro, PA 18954. Wilma's interment will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 830 Highland Road in Newtown, PA 18940. Attendees should plan on arriving at 9:45am to assemble at the Administration Building; the interment will take place promptly at 10:00am.
