Obituary of Wilmer M. Martin
Wilmer M. Martin, 77, of Lititz, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, October 21, 2025 in his home in the presence of his loving family. Born in Clay Twp., he was the son of the late H. Landis Martin and Anna (Martin) Martin. He was the husband of Elaine Rohrer Martin for 54 years on May 8.
Wilmer was an active member of White Oak Church in Manheim. He was a professional truck driver for 54 years prior to retiring in 2025. Most of his career, he was owner and operator and hauled for various companies. At the time of his retirement, he was driving for Stoltzfus Truck Brokers of Kinzer. Wilmer was generous with his time and always willing to help others.
In addition to motorcycling, bicycling, and golfing, he enjoyed spending winter months in Sarasota, Florida. He also enjoyed snow mobile trips to Maine, Michigan, and Canada.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Lori Ann, wife of Hiram Minnich, of Lititz, Dr. Shane L., husband of Erin Ensminger Martin, of Scottsdale, AZ, and Dr. Shelden L., husband of Nydia Gomez Martin, of Scottsdale, AZ; nine grandchildren, Tyler Minnich, Abrielle Rohrer, Conner Minnich, Jasmine Martin, Rhett Martin, Emery Martin, Ethan Martin, Elliot Martin, and Nathan Martin; and two great grandchildren, Beau and Wells Rohrer. Also surviving are nine siblings, Vera (John) Nolt, Ephrata, Edna Martin, Ephrata, Earl (Mildred) Martin, Myerstown, Miriam Martin, Denver, Raymond (Mabel) Martin, Lititz, Laverne (John) Fox, Denver, Norma Martin, Ephrata, Anna Mae (Elvin) Hoover, Kleinfeltersville, and Erla (Merle) Martin, Lititz. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Harlan Martin, John Elam Martin, and Elvin Martin.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at White Oak Church, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests during a viewing at the church on Sunday afternoon from 1-4 PM and on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers.
