Wilson Bridges Obituary
Wilson Bridges, 91, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Wilson was born in Cooley Springs, South Carolina, the son of the late James Hubert Bridges and the late Lunie Blake Bridges. He was also preceded in death by his wife Bette Gosnell Bridges; a brother: James Bridges.
Wilson was a retired salesman with Duke Energy. He was an avid college sports fan He was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. He was dedicated to his faith and enjoyed helping others. He also served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him
Left to cherish Wilson’s many memories are his daughter: Nadean Mason; a grandson Justin Mason (Susan Stone); two wonderful great grandchildren: Lance and Jacob Mason; two brothers: Jerry and Bobby Bridges. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service to honor Wilson’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.
The arrangements are entrusted into the care of J.F. Floyd Mortuary.
