Winfred Pirkle Obituary
Pirk was born March 12, 1951 in Douglasville, Georgia, the son of the late J.R. Pirkle and the late Lillie Mae Phillips Pirkle. He enjoyed working for 42 years as a supervisor for Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority. Pirk loved being in front of the television where he was watching wrestling or a good western movie. He spent time driving back road in his pickup truck. Pirk was Baptist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas Pirkle and Dave Pirkle.
Pirk is survived by his wife of 56 years, "Millie" Jean Arrington Pirkle of Villa Rica, children, Scott (Katie) Pirkle of Jackson, GA, Brian (Brandy) Pirkle of Bremen, Dean (Wendy) Pirkle of Douglasville, Dusty (Emily) Pirkle of Hiram, brothers, Michael Pirkle of Hampton, Tony Pirkle of Bowdon, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Brother Robert Dillbeck officiating.
Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with Scott Pirkle, Brian Pirkle, Dean Pirkle, Dusty Pirkle, Austin Pirkle and Tony Pirkle serving as pallbearers.
