The world is now a little less sweet now that Freddie has departed it. I worked with Freddie at Charleston Supply in 1972-73 and was one of her relief operators. I was but a young-un and she was so patient with me. Now every time I encounter a spider, I remember Freddie's story of being bitten by a brown recluse and how she had to wear only cotton thereafter. She was a sweetie. I pray our LORD, King of the Universe, will comfort your hearts and illumine your sweet memories of her in the days to come.
