Winnie Kidwill Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home - Wills Point on Mar. 10, 2026.
Winnie Fay Kidwill (Burnett) age 85, passed away peacefully on March 06, 2026, at her home in Wills Point TX. Born on March 30, 1940, in Dallas, TX, she was the cherished daughter of Grady and Wilma Burnett. Winnie graduated from Sunset High School in 1958 and went on to building a fulfilling career at Alton Box Board Co. and Green Bay Packaging, working first as an executive secretary to the general manager to being promoted to Purchasing/Personnel manager and then to Sales Representative to both companies, winning Sales Representative of the year in an all-male field. Her dedication and work ethic were evident throughout her professional career.

After retiring from the corporate world she opened Mimi's Day Care. The children all loved her and would cry to stay with her when their parents picked them up often begging to spend the night with her on the weekends. God blessed her with a special gift that drew children and animals to her.

A woman of deep faith and kindness, Winnie was a member of Trinity Family Church and lived by the principles of her Christian faith. Her love for her family and children was at the heart of everything she did. Known for her friendly, loving nature and warm spirit, she touched the lives of many with her unwavering care and compassion.

Winnie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kenneth Kidwill, her children, Kathryn Krumdieck and husband Alan, Sheri Kidwill, Steven Oneil Kidwill and wife Melanie, and Geno Kidwill and wife Jamie; as well as her ten grandchildren: Keith and Chris Sutton, Heather Woods, Kristin Bradshaw, Valerie Curtis, Cole, Gage and Rome Kidwill, and Alexis and Kamrie Kidwill. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her nineteen great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Grady and Wilma Burnett; her sister Willie B. Milner; brother-in-law J.E Milner; and brother, Henry Burnett.

May Winnie Fay Kidwill's memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
