Winnie V Patterson

Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
Winnie V. Patterson was relieved of her earthly call on April 24th, 2025, at home with her family close at hand. A prayer warrior at heart, she never lost her faith, even in times of strife. Winnie was committed to lifting others up in prayer. Even while her own body turned against her, she never lost hope. Winnie always reminded those around her that this battle is not one of flesh and bone. Her courage was a testament to her belief in the power of her savior, Jesus Christ. She was always willing to go out of her way to help others and never failed to give a smile- a legacy her family will now strive to fulfill.
Winnie is survived by her husband, Mark A. Patterson; her daughter, Jessica, and son-in-law, Jacob Landry; her son, Mark A. C. Patterson; and her brothers, Earl Brian, William Thomas, and Robert Claud McDonald.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hampie J. and Earl McDonald; her daughter, Megan Darbie Patterson; and her son, Mark A. X. Patterson.
We will miss our Winnie dearly, and keep her in our memory.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Head of Island Baptist Church on April 29th, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the funeral begins at 1:00 PM. Her "earth suit" will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service.
