Mrs. Waller is survived by sons, Ed Waller, Jr. of Perry, GA, Bobby Waller (LaNell) of Eatonton, GA, Ron Waller (Joan) of Gray, GA, Tim Waller (Kristi) of Bonaire, GA, and daughter, Nancy Deutscher (Andy) of Johns Creek, GA; grandchildren, Ed Waller III of Perry, GA, Jennifer Knight (Craven) of Bonaire, GA, Sarah Kennedy (Kyle) of Jefferson, GA, Luke Waller of Atlanta, GA, Lauren Parnes (Derrick) of Lakeland, FL, Katie Morgan (Justin) of Bonaire, GA, Tiffany Plowden (Matt) of Marrietta, GA, Samantha Jackson (Shawn) of Warner Robins, GA, Tim Waller, Jr. (Krista) of Bonaire, GA, Amanda Deutscher of Johns Creek, GA, Madison Deutscher of Johns Creek, GA, Morgan Deutscher of Johns Creek, GA, Scott Snyder of Chicago, IL, and Stephanie Chapdelaine (Robert) of Chicago, IL; sixteen great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Waller was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Edward Waller, Sr.; parents, William Chillie and Nannie Lane Gleason; brothers, Everett, Frank, Randall, Earl and Rhett; sisters, Pauline Gleason Allison and Shirley Gleason Lewis; and grandson, Chris Deutscher.

She was raised in a loving, Christian home, in Fork, SC. After graduating high school, Winnie attended Columbia Community College, in Columbia, SC. She then was employed at Veterans Administration Regional Office in Columbia. Winnie met her husband in Columbia and after their first child was born, relocated to Warner Robins, GA. They raised their children in Warner Robins and thanks to her good neighbor, Mrs. Sibey Wise, who took care of her children, Winnie went to work at Robins Air Force Base. After retiring from Robins Air Force Base, she and her husband relocated to Lake Sinclair and loved the country atmosphere and water, where her children and grandchildren loved to come and enjoy water sports and fishing. She and her husband loved to travel and visited many countries over the years, the most enjoyable were New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Italy and England. She volunteered for seven years at Putnam Christian Outreach in Eatonton, as a bookkeeper, and became a part time employee for three years. Mrs. Waller also served on the Board of Directors until 2014. She was a member of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 2117. She lived the last six and a half years with her daughter and son-in-law in Johns Creek.
