Woody Moore passed away suddenly on June 28th, 2024 at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital. He was born at Montgomery County Hospital in Blacksburg on July 30th 1975. He was a kind hearted, fun loving man. He graduated from Bible Holiness Christian Academy, formerly of Christiansburg in 1994. He loved his wife of almost 12 years, Marcy with his whole heart. He loved spending time with his family & his friends. One of his most favorite things to do was going fishing with his nephew Jeffrey. He was a deli worker at Kroger, S. Main St. Blacksburg for many years and prior to that he worked at VT in the printshop making deliveries. His first job was at Wades deli formerly S. Main St. Blacksburg.
Woody was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Moore, grandfather, Woodrow Moore, aunt, Brenda Moore, aunt, Barbara Stimpson, uncle, John Stimpson, mother, Shirley Moede & mother in-law, Susan Brookman Craft.
He is survived by his loving wife Marcy & their 2 fur babies Faith & Samson, his brother, Jesse Moore (John), sister, Rogenia Craft Wright, nephew, Jeffrey Hannah (Molly) & great nephew, Bracksley, cousin, Connie Slusher and many more cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in Grace Covenant Tabernacle. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 P.M. before the service.
