Worth Bowman Obituary
Was known by his close friends and family as "Buzzy." He had earned multiple degrees from NCSU and Vanderbilt University in Engineering, Astrophysics, and Nuclear Physics. His career included work for the AEC, Naval Shipyard, NASA, and as researcher and professor at NCSU from which he retired in 1993. Buzzy loved children and dogs, walking in nature, and painting. He is survived by his first wife, their three children, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. His honesty, his compassion for others, and his sense of humor will be missed and never forgotten.
