Wynne Hilldon "Wayne" Beach

Wilmington - Wynne (Wayne) Hilldon Beach, age 86, died October 6, 2025. He was the husband of the late Jeanette Ciarlo Beach.

Born in Cleveland, MS, February 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Vera (Dodd) and Joseph Beach. Before his retirement, he was a 33-year member of Ironworkers Local 424. He was also a member of the Building Committee of the Wallingford Preservation Trust and Most Holy Trinity Church in CT. He was always ready to help family and friends, especially with construction projects. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and supporting them in their many sports and extracurricular activities.

He is survived his three children, Deborah (Michael) McGill of Wilmington, Gary (Gabriela) Beach of Prague, Czech Republic, and Wayne Beach of Florence, SC; four grandchildren, Candace Beach Thuet, Timothy and Matthew McGill, and Jeanette Beach; three siblings, Betty DuBois of Cleveland, MS, Donald Beach of Olive Branch, MS and Edward Beach of Tunica, MS; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Olene Dempsey, Mavis Stribling, Jean Woodward, Annabelle Foster, Dero Beach and Olan Beach, and his daughter-in-law, Karla Beach.

The family will receive family and friends at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE, 19803 on Saturday, October 18 from 11:30-12:30, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Brandywine High School Baseball Boosters, 1400 Foulk Rd, Wilmington, DE, 19803.
