Xander R. Howe of Maple Shade passed away unexpectedly at Nemours Children's Hospital, Wilmington Delaware on Friday July 19, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was 15 years old and a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Xander was born on March 18, 2009 in Voorhees, NJ, and would have been starting his sophomore year at Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford, NJ, where he was studying electrical construction. Known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious smile, Xander left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Xander's favorite activity was spending time on his computer and playing video games. Xander's love of history was profound and he was always ready to share a fun fact with anyone. He enjoyed the role of family prankster as well. Though he left this world far too soon, he left it a better place because of who and what he was. Xander has touched the lives of many for years to come with the gift of life through organ donation.
Xander was the beloved and cherished son of Dee (nee Craven) and Nate Howe, loving and devoted brother of Mariah Howe, treasured and adored grandson to Richard and Maura Craven and the late Richard Howe, dear nephew of Rich Craven, Cyndi (Brad) Dietterick, Tabbi (Alan) Gray, and Josh Howe and special cousin of Ricky, Tony, Camerin, Mason and Ava.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Saturday, July 27th, 12 pm-2 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Xander's memorial service will follow 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
