Xavier Michael Speight

Xavier Speight, 25, of Buena Vista, GA passed Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Buena Vista. Born to Wilbert Lee Speight, Jr. and Quintina Robinson, Xavier was a radiant soul whose presence brought joy and music to all who knew him. A proud 2018 graduate of Lakeside High School, Xavier immersed himself in the arts and athletics, participating in musicals, the drama club, and lacrosse. His faith was nurtured at New Birth Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where he found community and inspiration. He continued his academic journey at the University of West Georgia, pursuing his passions with dedication.

Xavier was a gifted musician; known for his extraordinary ability to play any instrument he touched. His talent was matched only by his infectious smile-a light that could brighten any room and uplift any heart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilbert Lee Speight, Sr., and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Robinson.

In addition to his parents, his survivors include his maternal grandparents, Rochell and Harvey Jefferson; maternal grandfather, Eugene Brooks and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Speight, and a host of relatives.
