     A private burial ceremony for Yamindra Chaviano Medina, age 40 of Black Lake, Michigan will be on Thursday August 14, 2025, at North Allis Cemetery in Onaway, Michigan.  Yamindra passed away August 6, 2025 with her fiancé Greg by her side.  

     Yamindra Chaviano Medina was born February 18, 1985 in Cienfuegos, Cuba, the daughter of Olga Lidia Medina and Carlos Chaviano.  Yamindra had 2 brothers , Atney Milian, and Onay Milian.  Growing up in Cuba Yamindra enjoyed being involved in gymnastics, and dance.  She enjoyed and valued spending time with her family.  Yamindra moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 24.  She completed cosmetology school in Miami at the top of her class.   She was currently studying to take the test to complete her cosmetology license in Michigan.  

     Her and Gregory Tucker met in January 2024 in Miami, Florida and started dating.  In May of 2024 she moved to Black Lake, Michigan to be with Greg.  They planned on getting married in July of 2025.  While in Michigan she contiued working as a nail technician.  We will remember YUamindra for her bubbly personality, her contagious laughter, her beautiful smile, her love for praying to God all the time, her giving nature, her hard work ethic, and her love for kids and her family.  She loved Michigan and loved the USA.

     Yamindra is preceded in death by her father Carlos Chaviano and her brother Atney.

     She is survived by her mother Olga Lidia Medina, her brother Onay Median, and her devoted fiancé Gregory Tucker.
