Yancy Christian, a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 61.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying honor and dedication throughout his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Roland Harris; his children, Yalawn and Shamaria Christian; and his cherished grandchildren, Ya'Maya Dukes, Brandon Walls, Vega Christian, and Marquin Christian. Yancey also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
A private Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Dierna Funeral Home.
Yancy will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his service to his country, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
