Yateendra Bhatnagar

Yateendra Bhatnagar, age 82 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully August 29, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anjana; children, Piyush (Shahnaz) Bhatnagar, and Shikha (Rajeev) Batra; grandchildren, Nasim, Aman, Hannah, Kareena, Neena, and Krish. Yateendra attended university of Rochester earning his MBA and the Roorkee Institute of Technology School of Architecture, where he earned his master's degree. He worked as Vice President and Operations Management at the YMCA of New York City. Yateendra was a passionate outdoorsman enjoying fishing, camping, boating, traveling, golf, and racquet sports. He served on the board of Meijer Gardens and the YMCA, sharing his love for nature and giving back to his community. Yateendra was practical, ambitious, goal-oriented until the very end. He was a loving father and husband. A Pooja will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 11:30am at the West Michigan Hindu Temple. Memorial contributions can be made to the YMCA Mary Free Bed.
