Sunrise: July 30, 1957
Sunset: November 2, 2025
Ygnacio M. Florez rested peacefully in God's hands on November 2, 2025, at the age of 68 in Mesa, Arizona. He was a loving and caring husband and father. A cherished grandfather and soon to be great-grandfather, and a dear friend to many.
Ygnacio was born to the parents of Maria and Jesus Florez on July 30, 1957, in Tempe, Arizona. Ygnacio lived a life filled with love, laughter, selflessness, and kindness. He was known for his joking humor, a man with very little words, his gentle demeanor and unwavering generosity.
Ygnacio worked in Groundskeeping with the same company for approximately 33 years, where he was respected for his dedication and hard work. He approached every task that was given to him with diligence and integrity, leaving an impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.
In his free time, Ygnacio enjoyed his moments taking family vacations with his wife, children and grand-children. He loved listening to his favorite band "The Eagles" and spending a day one on one driving with his wife traveling around the state he was born and raised in. He found peace in his unwavering compassion towards God and Christian music. He found days in comfort sitting on the couch watching his favorite movies that had to do anything with Disney or the Marvel Universe especially, Ironman and Captain America. Ygnacio loved spending his time being present and proud in all moments of his children and grand children's lives. He found solace and joy in the simple moments spent with his family and friends.
Ygnacio will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Julie, his children Son Ignacio Jr. (wife Frances) and Daughter Jannie (wife Victoria), grandchildren Mia (significant other James), LilyAnn, Ignacio III, Noah, great-grandson and extended family.
Ygnacio would be remembered fondly for his kindness, compassion, generosity and loving spirit. He may have left this world, but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
