David Wayne Eccles

David Wayne Eccles was born on March 24th, 1958 in Patchogue, New York, and went home to be with the Lord on February 14th, 2026, at the age of 67. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane, and two sons, Joshua (Meredith) and Jason (Michelle), and his twin sister, Bonnie.

David lived a life defined by service, faith, and devotion. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, demonstrating honor, discipline, and commitment. Following his military service, he continued his life of dedication through a long and respected career with the United States Post Office, where he faithfully served until his retirement as Postmaster. He was know for his reliability, leadership, and the respect he showed to everyone he encountered.

His greatest calling was his service to God. David was a pastor and evangelist at The Door Church, where he faithfully preached the Gospel and ministered to many. He had a deep love for the Lord and a burden to share his faith with others. Through his ministry, he offered encouragement, guidance, and hope, touching the lives of countless people. His faith was not only something he preached, but something he lived daily through his kindness, strength, and compassion.

He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his servant's heart, and his dedication to both his family and calling. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through the lives he touched.

A celebration of David's life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 9 a.m. at The Door Church, 585 East Frye Road, Chandler, Arizona.
