He is preceded in death by his parents, Ygnacio Sr. and Adelaida Rivera, and his siblings: Trinidad Rivera, Salvador Rivera, Tony Rivera, Santos Rivera, Lucy Alfaro, Eleanor Sosa, and Margaret Lopez. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Beatrice Rivera; daughter, Anna Rivera; son, Adam Rivera Sr. (Eva); and grandsons, Adam Rivera Jr. (Vanessa) and Eric Rivera, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ygnacio worked for the Riverside Unified School District for 30 years. He enjoyed working in his yard, traveling, and cooking for his family and friends.
