Yolanda Avitia, a beloved wife and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 70 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on April 14, 1955, in Mexico, Yolanda brought warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered throughout her life.
Yolanda is survived by her devoted husband, Marcos Avitia. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Yolanda's spirit and love for family were evident in everything she did, and her legacy will be cherished forever by her loved ones.
A burial service will be held in her honor on May 29, 2025, at Boulder City Municipal Cemetery, located at 501 Adams Boulevard, Boulder City, NV. The service will begin at 10:00 AM, with a subsequent burial following at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life and the impact she had on all who knew her.
Yolanda Avitia will be remembered not only for her dedication to family but also for her compassionate heart and her ability to brighten the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
