Yvonne Jeanette Brodeur
October 14, 1930 - August 16, 2025
Yvonne Jeanette Brodeur, affectionately known as “Nanny,” passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was 94 years old.
Born in Dublin, Ireland on October 14, 1930, Yvonne was the second of three children to William and Gertrude Flood. In August 1955, she immigrated to America where she met Norman J. Brodeur on a blind date in the Bronx, New York. Six months later they married and remained devoted soulmates for 56 years.
Yvonne was a loving mother to four children: Valerie, Jackie (Tom), Jeannette, and Norman (Mia). She was blessed with ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
Known for her gentle spirit and warm Irish hospitality, Nanny touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love, loyalty, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who cherished her.
Gone but never forgotten, forever in our hearts.
