Yvonne Pineiro, 70, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2025, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She spent her final hours surrounded by love, with her family beside her offering comfort and care.
She lived a life shaped by generosity, creativity, and deep love for the people around her. A nurse practitioner by profession, she cared for her patients with the same dedication and kindness she showed her family. She poured that same spirit into her home, designing every room with her own vision and filling the house with warmth, light, and the scent of a candle.
She loved to landscape and filled every inch of her yard with life. She loved to cook and was happiest when feeding her family. Her door was always open, and no one ever left hungry. She loved her family deeply and never stopped giving, even in quiet ways. She was a devoted and caring wife of 52 years, a loving supportive mother, an adoring grandmother, and a kindhearted sister. She spent many days with her two granddaughters and enjoyed walks with her granddog, Zeus. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially on cruises to the Caribbean. She also loved simple, everyday comforts, such as drinking tea, visiting thrift stores, and reading. She had a sharp mind, a great laugh, and a heart that always had room for more.
She will always be remembered for her warm smile, her thoughtful nature, and the comfort she brought to the people around her. Her spirit lives on in the home she created, the family she raised, and the many quiet ways she made life better for those she loved.
She is survived by her husband Victor, her son Anthony Pineiro, her daughter Christine Pineiro, her sister Madeline Rodriguez, her granddaughters Kaitlyn and Ramona Pineiro, and her beloved granddog Zeus, along with countless other loving family members and friends.
