Hubert- With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Marilyn Squires on September 14, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital. She was born November 30, 1938, in Gardeau, PA, a daughter of the late Walter O. Lewis and Arlene T. Walker.

The family will have a celebration of life, at a later date, at Crystal Coast Assembly of God.

Yvonne was known for her faith, strength, humor, and vibrant spirit. In all that she did, she carried determination and inspired others by living life on her own terms.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Yvonne is survived by her children, Brian Bryce, Jacqueline (John Ducharme), and Glennda (Jamie Fisher); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Brian Jr., Zachary, Bentley, Brielle, Bonita, Erica, Ricky, Brianna, Christopher, and Michelle; and many loved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Veronica, Valarie, Vicky, and Vaughn. Yvonne was predeceased by her sweet daughter, Bonny-Lynne Bryce, her brother Van, and her great-grandchild Hunter Bryce.

Yvonne's life was a shining example of courage, love, and joy. She faced challenges with grace, celebrated life with laughter, and shared her warmth with everyone around her. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit, her lessons, and the love she gave will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever, guiding and comforting them for years to come.

For those who would like to celebrate Yvonne's life with flowers or a gesture of support, you are warmly invited to send them to Crystal Coast Assembly of God, 1367 NC-58, Peletier, NC 28584

For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom link will be provided so you can join the service live. The link will be shared once the service date is confirmed
