Zachary Eugene Edwards

On September 4th, 2023 Zachary Eugene Edwards,"Zach"of Evington, Virginia passed away at the age of 35 years. He attained his GED and worked for several years in various areas of construction. Zach, whom his wife deemed as a "Zach of All Trades", was the owner of Edwards Contracting LLC. He enjoyed fishing with his family, riding four wheeler trails, and being the best sports dad he could be.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his Wife of 9 1/2 years,Tracette Edwards. Their children Analeigh Ortiz, Jade, Tyler, Zachary "Zach", Torie, Zaxton, Ziah, and Zander Edwards, His Parents Russell "Josh" and Deborah "Debbie" Edwards of Buckingham,VA and Erma Gunter of Appomattox, VA. Sisters Chasity Hamlin (Jeremy) of Pamplin,VA, and Savannah Edwards of Appomattox,VA, a close cousin that he loved as a sister, Angela Jennings (Willie), two step brothers Tony McFadden (Stephanie) Appomattox VA and Jeffery McFadden (Gulshat) of Charlottesville, VA. Mother in law Danielle Randolph (Elroy) of Appomattox, VA, and father in law James Mosley Jr. (Jimmy) of Amelia VA, a grandmother Ruby Edwards, Amherst VA, a grandmother in law Veola Mosley "Mimi", of Concord, VA; sisters in law Junika Jones (Immanuel) of Virginia Beach, VA; Angelica Copeland (Chris) of Concord, VA, and brothers in law James Mosley III "Jamie" (Brittnay)of Las Vegas, Nevada,, and Jace Mosley of North Carolina; two best friends since grade school Eric Haab (Jessie) and Walter "T.C." Cousins (Jessica)and, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Joshua Matthew Edwards, his brother Jacob Tyler Edwards, his grandparents Russell Edwards Sr., Eugene Phelps,and Peggy Phelps.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at the Wright Family Cemetery in Amherst.
