Zachary Ray Frausto, born on June 20, 2001, in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, left this world far too soon on May 25, 2025, in the picturesque town of Carson, New Mexico. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember an extraordinary soul whose presence was a source of joy, love, and laughter for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Zachary lived his life with an easy-going charm that endeared him to family and friends alike. His friendly demeanor radiated warmth, making him not only a beloved son but also a cherished brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. He made a profound impact on everyone he met, embodying kindness, thoughtfulness, and a loving spirit that will resonate in the hearts of many forever.
Zachary pursued education with determination, graduating from high school before honing his skills as an Aircraft Aviation Mechanic at Eastern New Mexico University of Roswell. Unlike many, he followed in the footsteps of his father, proudly carrying on the legacy of craftsmanship and dedication that defines their family. His career choice was not just a job; it was a testament to his commitment to excellence and the passion he held for aviation.
Outside of work, Zachary lived life to its fullest. His enthusiasm was evident in every facet of his existence. He reveled in the thrill of riding his 2020 Indian Bobber motorcycle and cruising in his sleek 2024 Ford Mustang. Moments spent watching movies with his beloved mother were treasures he cherished, while playing video games with friends sparked endless laughter and camaraderie. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he unfailingly brought his spirited energy to every game, celebrating victories and enduring losses with grace and cheer.
Zachary's love extended to his furry companions, Zorro and Brownie, with whom he shared countless adventures. Family motorcycle rides, travel escapades, and spontaneous outings with his parents and friends were highlights of his life, allowing him to create memories that would be lovingly recalled by all who shared those moments with him.
His siblings, Kassandra, Monique, and Jacqueline Frausto, stood by him, each woven into the fabric of his life in a tapestry rich with love and shared experiences. With brothers-in-law Jorge Najera and Gavino Alvarado, and a plethora of nephews and nieces-Miguel, Yesenia, Avani, Santiago, Yasmine, and Xolani-Zachary's role as an uncle marked him as a figure of joy and laughter in their young lives. Those also left to cherish their very special memories of Zachary are his grandparents, Tony and Minnie Frausto, his Aunt Delia, his Aunt Blanca, and many other family members.
Though Zachary leaves behind a heart-wrenching void, his spirit shines on in the memories shared by family and friends. He is now reunited with his grandparents, Reymundo and Minerva Hernandez, and his uncle Gilbert, along with his loyal pitbull, Duke, who greet him in eternal peace.
As we remember Zachary, we are comforted by the indelible memories etched in our hearts-his laughter echoing in our minds, his gentle spirit reminding us of the importance of kindness, and his unwavering love inspiring us to be better. His pallbearers, Jorge Najera, Gavino Alvarado, Ryan, Brady, Cecil, Alex, and Jack, will honor his memory as they carry him into his final resting place.
"To my loving, beautiful, son, mijo so thankful to God for giving me you my wonderful son. I'm so very thankful for the years we had together and the beautiful memories, but everything was cut so very short. We had so much still to do together, and I don't know how I will go on without you. My son, I love you very much and words cannot describe how much I miss you and love you very much!"
