Zachary Jenny Obituary

He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Cincinnati, Ohio Mission. After his mission, he moved to Utah, where he met and fell in love with his wife Kelsey. They were married on August 22nd, 2015 in Lehi, Utah. They had two daughters and lived in Springville, Utah.
Zach had a passion for movies, especially critiquing them. Some of his favorite films were Blue Streak, Nothing to Lose, Bad Boys, La La Land, Silver Linings Playbook, and Ocean's Eleven. He also loved hockey, both as an athlete and as a fan. His favorite team was the Dallas Stars.
Zach was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife Kelsey Read Jenny, daughters Riley and Charlie, his parents Walter and Kathleen, brothers Kris, Josh, and Trevor, and sisters Emily and Allison. Also left to cherish his memory are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He had the ability to make a person laugh with very little effort. The happiness of others was very important to him, he loved and cared selflessly. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 531 West 3200 North, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Provo City Cemetery.

Elder Jenny served in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission during part of our presiding over the mission. We loved and appreciated him. We heard via a Go Fund Me effort when he was being treated for Leukemia but were not aware of his passing. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, parents and other family members.
