Zachary Wedll Obituary
Zachary Wedll, 34, of Fergus Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Zachary John Wedll was born on February 17, 1991, the son of John and Bridget (Erickson) Wedll. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. He attended Fergus Falls Public Schools, graduating in 2009.
Zachary had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. He had an easy-going laidback nature and had a big hug and smile for everyone he met. Zach had a large family and enjoyed spending time with them and friends. He was especially wonderful at playing with the kids in the family and making each one feel special. He enjoyed all of the Minnesota sports teams especially the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild. He also enjoyed PlayStation, traveling, and had good memories of his vacation to Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA with his Mom and aunts. Zach especially enjoyed spending time with his Dad, going for a drive, watching sports or history shows. He liked hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. Zach was very adventurous and would always try new things. Zach leaves behind lots of love, laughter and cherished memories. We love you more than life itself Zach, you will live on in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his parents, John and Bridget Wedll; sister, Carly (Logan Tandsater) Wedll; Wedll aunts and uncles, Diane (Jerry) Schauff, Cathie (Terry) Wilde, Mike (Debbie) Wedll, Jane (Kelly) Livingood, Bill (Carrie) Wedll, Nancy (Delayne) Kugler, Tom (Leslie) Wedll, Julie Lemke and Ted (Darla) Wedll; Erickson aunts and uncles, Darla (Ted) Wedll, Enid (Tim) Ness, Douglas (Beth) Erickson, Lynda Fattom and Valerie Flodman; and by many cousins, relatives and friends. Zach was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Bev Wedll and Douglas and Barbara Erickson; uncle, Dan Lemke; and aunt, Cindy Erickson.

His visitation is Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home from 3-5 p.m., with a prayer service starting at 4:30.
Zachary's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Elizabeth, Minnesota. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the mass.
