Zaida Teope Rowley

Zaida Teope Rowley, age 62, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Rex Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born March 16, 1962, in Quezon City, Philippines to the late Manolo and Esther Teope. While working at Manila Bible Seminary, Zaida began a "pen pal" relationship with the man that eventually became her "sweetie." She moved to the United States in 1990 to marry Darren Rowley. She was blessed with two boys, Adrian and Isaiah, who were her pride and joy. Zaida enjoyed making delicious Filipino food and shared her lumpia and other delicacies with friends and family. She worked for Rex Hospital for many years, most recently as an HR Representative. Zaida loved Jesus foremost and enjoyed worshipping him while listening to praise music.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at The Summit Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Zaida is survived by her husband of 34 years, Darren Rowley; sons, Adrian Rowley and Isaiah Rowley; sisters, Divine Refuerzo, Carivic Teope, Anthea Teope; brother Jonathan Teope; and many nieces and nephews.
