I never worked with Zane just seen him in the hallways or the school. I knew whom he was it was told he was coming last year. I'm the morning I see him with the biggest and brightest smile on his face. I seen the joy he brought to the classroom to his teachers. I cried when I heard the news, just to know I wont see his smile in the morning. There is a photo in the classroom with his smiling face, thats my go to when I need a smile. Rest easy Zane....you are greatly missed

Zane was such a joy to have in our classroom. One of his favorite things to do was go down the slide at school. In the beginning of the year when he started to go down the slide he would lay down with his feet underneath him, he would come flying down. I was always a little nervous, but he had no fear and would have a huge grin on his face every time. Eventually, he figured out how to put his legs out, he would go up and down the slide over and over again.
Zane´s favorite song at school was "Wheels on the bus". Whenever Zane was upset I would play or sing his favorite song to calm him down. He loved this song, it made him smile, jump up and down on his knees with joy! Also, If he saw my laptop on my desk or if he could reach the smart board he would always sneak away to play his favorite song. Zane will be greatly missed at school by all the students, teachers, and staff.

Meeting him at Mills parole elementary he was a bright light and he had the biggest smile. Loved interacting with Zane at Recess and at our combined PE. Loved seeing him smile as he goes down the slide.

Sweet Baby Zane. You were the epitome of joy. You reminded us of the simple things that bring joy: family, music, and even Wheel of Fortune. We will miss your light here on earth. We love you so much.

Zane had the special gift of happiness. He always made me happy when around him. I've never known anyone whose happiness is so contagious. I love you Zane and will see you again. Aunt Linda.

We shared so many memories throughout his young life and for one who had so many challenges, hundreds of seizures, operations, hospitalizations, I have never seen anyone who radiated as much joy as Zane did. I loved to watch him knee hop to Baby Einsteins, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He loved to snuggle, hang upside down and be tickled. Although I will miss him terribly, I know he is in a better place where he'll experience even greater joy knee-hopping in heaven and never experience pain again. Pops

Watching Zane play in the water and really play anything filled everyone´s hearts with joy and laughter because he enjoyed everything so purely and intensely, completely uninhibited and wholly in the moment.

Zane loved to listen to his parents play music while they practiced for the church band. Always the most contagious smile on his face. One look into his eyes and you knew he had nothing but love in his life.

I'm so glad all of you were able to visit Atlanta this past summer but I especially loved watching Zane play in the splash pad at Suwanee. It was clear how much he loved it from the look of pure joy on his face.
