Zoemel Colette (Collins) Reed, 72, of Topeka, passed away peaceful Monday, March 2, 2026.
She was born November 16, 1953, in Texarkana, Arkansas, the daughter of Elon and Delores Collins.
Zoemel dedicated a number of years in food service with the Topeka Public School system.
She was a faithful member of Faith Temple Church of Topeka. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and being apart of the Sunday school classes.
Zoemel married George Henry Reed and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband, George Reed; her children, Tiffany Reed and George Reed, Jr; her sister in law, Miriam Hysten and her brother in laws, Ernest Reed, Jr., and Alfred Thomas Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services are pending at this time, please check back for details. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
