Dwight was born and raised in Napa, CA. He served in the Army and National Guard.
Dwight belonged to the Napa Elks Lodge, where he was a past Exaulted Ruler. He also had a passion for golf, photography, and scuba diving.
After retiring from Mare Island, he worked and played golf at Chimney Rock Golf Course and later joined the Vintner's Golf Club.
Dwight is survived by his wife, four daughters, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, and a niece.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Napa Humane Society.
