James A. Alexander
1945 - 2021
James A. Alexander died peacefully in his Napa, California home on Saturday October 9, 2021. Born on November 19, 1945, he was the loving father of Jennifer, Nichole, Katelin (Benjamin Hayes), Andrew and Darby and grandfather to Zoe, Zac and Reagan.
If you could see life through his eyes, you would see a series of beautiful photographs where his friends and his family blend with magnificent landscapes to create his stunning works of art. Jim was an avid photographer who never thought of himself as an artist, but his collection of landscapes would say otherwise. Over the years Jim took thousands of photographs that perfectly show the wonder of nature and generate a look of awe in the viewer's eyes.
If you could walk in his shoes, you would dance through life to the music and laughter that created the soundtrack of his world. Jim's laughter was as infectious as his smile, and he kept the rhythm with the drumbeat of his heart.
In his lifetime he was devoted to creating and growing an abundance of wealth and happiness for those who were both his clients and dear friends. He took this devotion and turned it into a successful career culminating in the role of President of Carneros Capital Management. Jim helped many people understand the markets, both personally and professionally. Sitting down and talking with him you always knew you would walk away with a much better understanding of whatever topic you were discussing, financial or otherwise.
Jim was beloved by so many. His loss will be felt for many years to come. The family would like to invite friends to join them on what would have been his 76th birthday, November 19th at the offices of DeDora and Carneros Capital 1600 Main Street, Napa at 11:00 AM for a celebration of a life well lived.
