Lizabeth W. Miller (Liza or Lizzy) died unexpectedly 6/26/2021 at home. Liz was born in Queens, New York June 5, 1954 to Joanne Bertschi and adopted father John Bertschi. Lizzy lived in New York until she was 13. Father (pilot) was transferred and stationed at Travis air force base, where Napa Valley became her "forever "home. Liz attended Silverado middle school, Napa High school, and Napa Valley College. Where she graduated from the nursing program. Liz worked at Queen of the valley for 15 years and continued her nursing career to hospice and home health. Liz loved to travel.
A few of Liz's favorite things to do include floating on rafts with her sister, swimming with the turtles in Waikiki beach, going to Tahoe & playing slots. Favorite restaurants Frida's and R&D kitchen. She also loved decorating for holidays especially Christmas. She loved gardening, planting flowers and her succulent arrangements made her smile. She absolutely loved her family, GRANDBABIES (Mimi) and friends. Most of all she loved helping and caring for others. She chose a career that fulfilled her heart. Liz was a gentle compassionate soul, she had so much love to give. Always a huge hug and kiss followed. Liz always had a positive outlook on life "everything will be ok" she would say. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends. She was so very Loved.
Liz leaves behind her husband Mark Miller, (Kids) Racheal Vallerga , Mike Miller, Tiffany Miller, Ally Miller.(Grandkids) Adalyn, Rev, Deegan, Emmit, Trystin, Marek, Wayde, Scarlett and Ella. (Sisters) Jeana Skivington, Donna Orr (Nephews) Tyler Skivington (Katlyn) Trevor Skivington (Mala).

She must be around me - I am thinking about her all the time - Always loved her - Kathy Clerici and I ran into Liz at Freidas Mexican restaurant - She had a big smile and I was so happy to see her - then just shocked to her obituary - Sorry I did not get to spend any time with her - Love you Lizzy Bertchi
