Russell Scaduto Obituary

Russell Michael Scaduto

1953 - 2022

The eldest of 5 children Born to Mike and June Scaduto in San Francisco, Russ and the Scaduto family moved to Napa in 1968, when he was 15 years old.

Our dad loved to hunt, restore bikes, rolled deep with his Harley Davidson-Red and his B.F.F.B's. He lived a very colorful life, with an endless library of stories. From flying in low into the desert, to saving someone from a burning car, to raising a Wolf we all as kids thought was a German Shepard. He was extremely big hearted, we always hugged, said love you, and each of us thought we were his favorite.

Russ is proceded in death by his parents Mike and June Scaduto, most recently lost his best friend and dog of 12 years "Tank" and is survived by his siblings Michele Scaduto, Lorraine (Britt) Miller, Mike (Jayne) Scaduto, Marie Tarap, his 6 children Harley Barnes, Harvest Scaduto-Duhig (John), Harla Scaduto, Heidi Scaduto (Jorge), Rachel Scaduto, Lindsey Pilotti, and 8 grandchildren- Haylie, Hana, Isaac, Angela, Junior, Anthony, Carlos, and Camila.

A celebration of Russ will be held in May, we would love for your to come with your best "Russ" story. Please email [email protected] with your contact information to be invited.

My heart goes out to Russ´ family. Russ was always a pleasure to be around. He made me laugh so many times. He had a huge heart and was a great friend. I loved his sense of humor. He will definitely be missed. Rest in peace Russell. May you walk with Jesus.
From your friend, Chrisey

Russ always made me laugh! He always had a wild and crazy story to tell. He always wanted to go out and eat lots of food after a lengthy shopping trip to a local hardware store to buy a new weed whacker!! He must have owned numerous amount of them. He would also come over to our house and park his Harley right at the bottom of the stairs, go find my son, Daniel, and slip him some cash to "Guard My Harley". Daniel would always watch it intently until Russ came out and relieved him of his duty. Russ was such a kind teddy bear and I believe he had Daniel watch the Harley, not because he was worried that someone would mess with so mush as he wanted Daniel to feel good about having done a good job and earning some $$!! He was just that kind-hearted kind of guy! He will be dearly missed. But, his legacy will carry on.
