I miss you Dr, I will probably never have a another Dr in this lifetime with as good of a dry sense of humor.
Hope the family is doing well.
Blessings to you.

I just received a UK medicine alumni news and was remembering my friend & fellow grad student Art. I knew he´d gone to med school after we each finished degrees. He a Masters & me an PhD. Art used to travel back to Chicago with me as he didn´t have a car. We were pretty good friends but lost track of each other - no internet back then. I was sad to see this obituary. He was a great and determined guy. I remember meeting Jane and was pleased to see that they married & had a family.

Dr. LaMarre was our internist for 22 years. We followed him from one location to another and he could never seem to lose us. Art was kind and compassionate and we trusted him. We were so disappointed when he left the practice and even more so when he left Naperville. Our most sincere condolences to Jackie and his family.

My parents and I had Dr. Lamarre as a Dr in Naperville for many many years.
I went today for a Dr appointment and thought about him and Googled him.
He had a fantastic sense of humor and always made us laugh. He was very kind and had a gentleness to him.
We have thought about him many times throughout the years.
My condolences to his family.

Had him as a Doctor in Naperville and really liked him. His name popped up on my phone today when I got a call from my current doctor and was thinking about what a good doctor he was. Googled him and saw this. Hope his family is doing well.

We will miss his subtle sense of humor, his modesty despite many accomplishments in patient care, woodworking, parenting, gardening and many other endeavors. A kind and nonjudgmental man who rarely gave into frustration or anger. A rare, gentle man who contributed positively to our world.
