Christopher Heiple Obituary
Private family burial will be at a later date in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Cerro Gordo is assisting the family.
Chris was born October 27, 1974 in Mattoon, IL the son of Eric R. and Charlene K. (Cagley) Heiple. He graduated from Naperville Central High School in the class of 1993. Chris worked as an IT Specialist for Faegre & Drinker in their Indianapolis office for most of his career. He enjoyed music and played bass guitar with his band, Zero 260.
Chris is survived by his father and stepmother, Eric R. and Carolyn Heiple of Naperville, IL; siblings, C.J. Heiple of St. Paul, MN, and Kelly Popejoy (Luke Preczewski) of Miami, FL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Heiple.

Chris was my older brother. We were also bonded through family, laughter, music, and a love of animals. He was protective of me, and he was just a really decent guy. Salt of the earth. He loved to make people laugh. He was a talented musician. A caretaker of many 4 legged friends (and a tripod cat!). Thanks to anyone who has or who will leave a kind word or a memory about Chris. Let us cherish his memory always, and keep him in our hearts.

Chris was a good man. I got to know him through our work at Faegre & Drinker. He had a good sense of humor and just a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.
