Daniel Charles Bennett

1979 - 2022

We mournfully announce the passing of Daniel Charles Bennett (Danny), 42, of Chicago by way of Naperville. Danny passed away on January 13, 2022 surrounded by his family, embraced with love. Danny was born on July 11th, 1979; he was a force to be reckoned with from the get-go. Danny graduated from Naperville Central High School in 1997, and Eastern Illinois University in 2001. At University, Danny became a part of Fraternity Sigma Nu, where friends became brothers. Danny received his Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration and was working towards his PhD. At high school and university Danny gained many lifelong friends who will carry on his fabulous legacy. Our lives are better for having known him. "Thank you for being a friend!"

For 20 years Danny was a devoted teacher, who championed for every student. His passion was Early Learning and he poured his soul into this passion every day of his life, earning Teacher of the Year 2016-2017. Danny was also an amazing actor and singer, and had an infectious personality with whom everyone fell in love.

Danny is survived by his mother, Erin Pucher; father, Thomas Pucher; brother, Andy (Mackenzie) Pucher; sister, Katie Pucher; special Aunt Paté (Mike); birth father, Gregory (Gina) Bennett; grandmother, Ruth Bennett; special mentors Will and Joyce; Robin, Bridgett, Michele, hobahgs et al., several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends from every step of his glorious life.
