Ronald Selk

Ronald A. Selk, age 59, a resident of Carbon Hill, IL and formerly longtime of Naperville, IL, passed away January 29, 2026.

Ron is survived by his mother, Shirley Selk; his siblings, Ricky (Susan) Selk of South Carolina, Cathy Smith of Traverse City, MI; his dear nieces, Amanda (Mike) Duffy, Megan (Ted) King, Sarah (Eli) Purvis, and Hanna Selk, and great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Julius Dwayne, Madison, and Emma; and his four-legged children, Kylie and Soco.

He was preceded in death by his father, D. Dwayne Selk.

Ron was a proud graduate of Naperville Central High School, Class of 1984. After completing high school, he joined his family business, Seating Concepts, where he built a strong work ethic and took pride in contributing to something meaningful alongside those he loved.

Ron had a deep love for the outdoors and an adventurous spirit that never faded. Whether exploring new places or embracing a spontaneous plan, he was always ready for the next adventure. Known for his generosity and kindness, Ron had a rare ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was a friend to everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression through his warmth, humor, and genuine care for others.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 11:00AM-1:30 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
