David Davenport Obituary

Davenport, David L. Age 60, of Naperville, IL died Sunday, December 22, at Rush-Copley Hospital, Aurora, IL. He was born February 18, 1953 in Springfield, MO. David was a graduate of Missouri State University, with a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He was the General Director of Transportation for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) where he worked for 43 years. David loved the outdoors and enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his grandson and family. He is survived by his wife, Jan and his daughters, Dana Curby, Leslie Davenport and grandson, James Davenport all of Bloomington, IL. He is also survived by his mother, Wanda Davenport of Springfield, MO; his sister, Dee Anna Davenport of Atlanta, GA; his niece and nephew, Savannah and Josh Riffe of Durant, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Davenport and grandmother, Juanita Peters. Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home and Crematory, 24021 W. Royal Washington Dr. Naperville, IL. From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bloomington, IL.
