My deepest condolences to the Demkovich family! Our family Mirzalli, Emam & Helen were friends with your Grandma & Grandpa! We visited them at their home and restaurant and they also visited us at our home in Hessville. So many good memories !! Everyone grew up and moved and we out contact with each other, but so many times, thought about your Mom and your Aunt Freida! Hoping you find comfort in knowing that your Mom is now with our Lord during this difficult time!

Dear Dottie, Nancy & Diane,
I am so sad about your Mom's passing. She was sure a fighter, but just remember she is now at peace and so happy. She is surely smiling down on all of you, as she is now with your Dad and her family and ours. Just remember to be kind to one another and never lose each other. You need your sisters now more than ever! Love, Beth

To the Demkovich family may Dorothy rest in eternal peace. Although I did not know Dorothy my mother Mary Lynn (mizalli)Guzek did. She remembers the Coffee House that Zia and Ruby owned and remembers visiting them in their home upstairs. My grandparents were Emam and Helen Mirzalli. They lived in the Hessville section of Hammond. Zia Esmail is buried near my grandfather Emam in the Turkish section of the cemetery in Hammond. Since few of the Turkish men married my grandmother who was Hungarian was happy to have had a friendship with Ruby. Dorothy's sister Frieda was a friend of my aunt Joan(mirzalli)Kartz and I remember that she visited them during the 80's at their Illinois home.
With much respect, David v Guzek son or Mary Lynn Guzek who is the daughter of Emam and Helen Mirzalli.

(Nephew David Esmail.) My memories of our too infrequent childhood visits to Naperville were of visits to a warm home and an aunt who absolutely oozed sweetness. She really did make me feel welcome and like I was being taken care of. I remember my last visit with her at Nancy's and the smile on her face and the warmth and wonder of her storytelling. I remember being tickled at the time and just feeling like this is a woman who has lived a life filled with love that she created herself by loving others. My condolences to the rest of the family and her friends. I urge you all to endeavor to remember her with the honor and love that she deserves.
