Elenita Librojo Obituary

Elenita G. Librojo, nee Gongora, age 70 of Aurora, IL formerly of Bolingbrook and Naperville, IL, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at her home. She was born September 24, 1952 in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines, to her loving late parents, Mariano and Felicia Gongora. Cherished wife of Cesar S. Librojo, Sr., wedded on August 1, 1976. Beloved mother of Cesar G. Librojo, Jr. of Aurora and Lazir (Jennifer) Librojo of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dearest sister of Ruben Gongora and the late, Kuya Tato, Nars, and Suseng. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elenita graduated from Jose Rizal College and taught at Don Bosco University and Siena College of Taytay. She migrated to the US in 1990 and settled in Naperville where she taught at SS. Peter and Paul School. She spent many years as the caretaker for Mr. and Mrs. Moser. Elenita enjoyed watching her TV especially soap operas in Korean. Visitation: Monday, July 24th 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Prayers will begin from the funeral home, Tuesday, July 25th 10:15 and process to SS. Peter and Paul Church for an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
