Michael Brennan Obituary
Beloved husband of Carole E. Brennan (nee Bruce), whom he married on June 26, 1965, loving father of Jeffery M. (Stephanie) Brennan of Puyallup, WA, Michael B. (Robin) Brennan of Vancouver, WA and Cristin E. (Jeff) Dillon of Yorkville, IL, adored grandfather of Kayla and Patrick Brennan; Megan and Molly Brennan; Peyton, Hailey and Braden Dillon, devoted son of the late Michael and Victoria (nee Laurin) Brennan, dear brother of Arleen Szymanski of Chicago and the late David (Melanie) Brennan, fond brother-in-law of Robert (Sandra) Bruce of Newport Beach, CA, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
Mike grew up in Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood and was a graduate of St. Christina Grade School and Brother Rice High School. He attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tattnall (DDG-19) and worked many years in industrial sales. Mike was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Naperville and enjoyed a vast array of hobbies and interests.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 30, 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Committal rites and military honors will be held on Friday, October 1, 9:30 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

My deepest condolences to Mike's entire family. Mike has been a vendor of our company for the past 10 years, we really enjoyed working with Mike and having lunch with him. He will be deeply missed. We are so sorry we did not know about his passing, we would have attended his services.
