Robert "Bob" Thomas

Robert E. Thomas, age 73, of Naperville. Dear son of the late Mary Jane, nee Walsh, and the late Robert H. Thomas; dear cousin and friend to many.

Robert loved to laugh. He loved sports, he was a big White Sox fan, and he loved the Chicago Bears. He played in many fantasy football leagues. Robert himself played football in High School, and intramurals in college. Robert was never far from sports, he also coached a girls softball team for a few years. Robert was very athletic and had a Tennis scholarship from Illinois College where he received his Bachelor Degree. After college he went on to work for the American Association of Insurance Services. He worked there for 37 years, and retired in 2012 as an IT Manager.

Robert enjoyed role playing games with his friends and attended conventions to play Dungeon and Dragons and other games. He was also a history buff. He particularly enjoyed reading military history. Robert also loved movies and music. He shared his love of Fantasy and Sci-Fi movies with anyone who would listen. Robert had an eclectic taste for music, from Frank Sinatra to Rock and Roll from the 60's and 70's. Robert will be remembered mostly for his love of sharing all the things he loved.
