I'm so sorry about Neil's passing and so sorry to find out so late. He and I were best buds when we worked together at Bell Labs in the 70's. I'm sure he is resting comfortably up above with the rest of the angels.

To the Whittington Family:
Although I did not know Neil I am certain that he was a wonderful individual. I had the privilege of teaching Katie at Naperville North. I watched her grow into a wonderful young woman and Mother. I also had the pleasure of knowing and meeting her lovely mom Nancy. Both Nancy and Katie are outstanding people who loved Neil with all of their hearts. Knowing Nancy and Katie how could he not be special?
Although I cannot attend the wake or the memorial for Neil and send my condolences in person I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sympathy to all of the Whittington family on their great loss.
Fondly,
Ellen Wojtowicz
