We didn't have the chance to know Tim long but we got to see some of the very best in the few chances we had to spend time together. The images of Tim will always be of him at Margaret's wedding offering the best toast ever from the Father of the Bride as well as him sliding down the front lawn in Stowe on his suitcase across the frozen ice to meet his cab. Our grandchildren will forget but we won't Tim at Thanksgiving singing sweetly in front of the fire and sharing s'mores. We will always remember Tim as a sweet and gentle man and we'll miss him greatly.

As an old childhood friend of Tim's son Kevin, I remember Tim's playful sense of humor and down-to-Earth demeanor. I especially remember all the puns and short jokes Tim would deliver (with a smile of course!) during our brief interactions. As a shy kid, I often was intimidated to talk with adults, but Tim's warmth quickly put me at ease. It was obvious how much he loved his family, and I am thankful for knowing Tim and his gentle soul.

Timmy was a kind, precious and unique individual who will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. His uncanny sense of humor brightend every room he entered. Timmy's loving memory will live on in the hearts of the many lives his presence forever changed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Gibbs was one of my favorite teachers. He made every class very interesting. He made his students feel like equals not like the kids we were. My prayers are with you.

At times like these, words escape me. Mr. Gibbs was a wonderful father and a good friend to our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gibbs family.

Dear friends, I know that nothing I say could dissuade your bereavement, but know that your father, brother and friend is in heaven. Mr. Gibbs was one of the funniest people I have known. Whenever Kevin and I would spend time in Chicago, back when we were in college or when I would come in from law school Mr. Gibbs would always have a kind word and a joke.
I offer my deepest sympathy to the Gibbs family; you have all been like a family to me. Honor Mr. Gibbs and cherish the good memories so that he may live forever.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

I remember a day in Mr. Gibbs's health class that a young man had a seizure in the center of the classroom. Not assuming that he was joking around, Mr. Gibbs, as calm and collected as possible sent someone to the office to call 911 and knelt down next to him and took every precaution necessary to keep him safe. He knew what to do and had the poise to do so without hesitation. More than a teacher, I got the distinct impression that day that Mr Gibbs was a good man. That moment has been in my mind ever since. I'm sure that your family has a lifetime of these memories and I'm sorry for your loss.

Although I didn't know Mr. Gibbs well, the times I did see him he always seemed to be smiling with a sense of humor. My sympathy and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. I know he will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Gibbs was one of my favorite teachers. I often tell the story of how he used to drop a cake pan next to the desk of a student who had fallen asleep in his class - it only happened once before we all learned. He was a great, fun loving teacher and will be missed.

I would just like to say that I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Gibbs passing. He was a very good person. I was in his health class back in 1989. He was always happy and smiling and was always nice. My prayers and thoughts are with your family at this time.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. I remember Tim as a man who loved to tell corny jokes. He would come to my office almost every morning with a new joke.

I also remember when Tim coached our boys' tennis team. He did it with so much enthusiasm and both Tim and the kids had a ball.

I'm sure Tim is in heaven now, telling jokes to St. Peter.

He will be missed.
