Naples, FL - York, PA native, Beverly H. Lutgert, passed away in the after noon of Friday, October 28, 2011, at the age of 71. She was born November 2, 1939.
Beverly had a huge heart and was a very loving and generous woman who brought joy to her friends, family and all those she came into contact with. Mrs. Lutgert has been a major supporter of various community projects including the Guadalupe Center of Immokalee, the Naples Shelter for Abused Women & Children, the Humane Society of Naples, Friends of Gummi and Florida Gulf Coast University.
Mrs. Lutgert is survived by her mother Marian Stoner Heilig of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her brothers John K. Heilig, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale and Jack C. Heilig (Carolann) of Boca Raton, FL; step sons Scott F. Lutgert (Simone) and Larry Lutgert of Naples, FL; grandchildren Kurt Lutgert, Kim Confer (Bill), Kristin Cartwright (Dayle), Erik Lutgert, Heather Dockweiler (Jamie) of Naples, FL, Jennifer Lutgert (Claire Pollard) of Evanston, IL, Kate Barton (Kyle) of Owing Mills, MD, Rodney Weiss of San Francisco, CA, and Lana Gomez of Los Angeles, CA; ten great grand children.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father John K. Heilig, Sr. and loving husband, Raymond L. Lutgert.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you please send a donation to the Humane Society of Naples or Friends of Gummi or a charity of your choice in her honor.
On Monday, October 31, 2011 (TOMORROW), the family will receive guests for a celebration of life at Grey Oaks Country Club from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

I miss Mr & Mrs Lutgert everyday. They were both very special and I am a better person for knowing them. It was a honor to have worked and live with them in Linville, NC. My heart goes out to there families and all that truly knew them, they will both be missed dearly! Thanks Mrs Lutgert for all the laughs, lessons and love that you shared with me.

My heart skipped a beat when I heard we had lost MISS BEV, I can honestly say I have never met anyone so giving and so careing. I can only take comfort in knowing that she is back with raymond and keeping him in line :-) Im very lucky to be able to say i knew them both.
