Charles Sullivan Obituary
Naples, FL
Charles Jerome "Jerry" Sullivan, 94, of Naples died peacefully on October 12th, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Michael and Hazel M. (nee Fancher) Sullivan. Jerry earned his Master's Degree in Actuarial Science. He lived in Glenview, IL, for 46 years where he retired as an actuary for Marsh & McLennan Companies. He had been a Naples resident for the past 13 years.
Jerry married the former Kathleen Mae O'Connor in Scarsdale, NY and together they created the loving legacy of family. He will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. In addition to his wife of 62 years, Kathleen, he leaves sons and daughters, Chris (Jannine) of Hinsdale, IL, Kevin (Barbara) of Inverness, IL, Kerry (Chris) Lawlor of Mequon, WI, Barry (Elizabeth) of Laytonsville, MD, Andy (Kathleen) of Randolph, NJ, and Lori (Bob) Murphy of Cheshire, CT; thirty-four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church, 475 9th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102, on Friday, October 23rd, 10:00 AM followed by a reception in the St. Ann Parish Hall from 11AM-1:30PM. Final committal will take place after the reception; 2:30 PM, Palm Royale Cemetery, 6780 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, FL 34119.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jerry's memory to C.C.A.P. (Collier Community Abstinence Program, a 501(C)3 tax deductible organization) for their Marriage and Family Project would be greatly appreciated. Contact C.C.A.P, P.O. Box 9488, Naples, FL 34101.
