Danny Brunney Naples, FL
Danny Brunney, 67, a 20 year resident of Naples, unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on August 26, 2011. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, Dan will remain present in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. A quiet, reserved man, Dan's strength of character, kindness and gentle spirit led him to go out of his way to help others. He was blessed by and grateful for the friendships he made over the years. Passionately devoted to his family, he always put them first. Dan had owned his own auto shop and restaurants. He worked for General Mills for many years and was promoted to Regional V.P. of Operations personally directing the opening of Red Lobsters across the U.S. Traveling the world in the course of business, Dan came to favor the culture of Texas and considered it his adopted home. In Naples, he worked as property manager for The Shores at Berkshire Lakes. Dan will be dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer; grandchildren, Greyson and Alora; brother -in-law, Michael (Annette) McCullough all of Naples; and father-in-law, Bennie (Maude) McCullough of Dalton, GA.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6th, 4:00 p.m., Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East. The family will receive visitors a half hour prior to the service. For online condolences, visit www.fullerfuneralhome.com

fb recently jogged my memory of my favorite of over 2 dozen RL GM's when I worked at Naples in 90"s. Rock solid character and a sweetheart at his core.

Danny was my half-brother, 18 years older. We were close when I was younger. I am so sad to know that he is gone from this world, but pleased, and not suprised, to know he was loved and held in high regard. My thoughts are with his family and friends in Naples. Fern Thomas, Ocala, Fl.

Paula and family, it was with disbelief that Jim and I read about Dan's death. How sad we are! You both had a special place in our hearts, and we did share some mighty fun moments! He was such a warm, helpful, sincere person and we are so glad our paths crossed. You're in our prayers at this very difficult time.
