Edward J. Thompkins Naples, FL
Edward J. Thompkins, 79, of Naples, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2011. He was born in Wildwood, NJ to the late Edward and Marie Thompkins. Among his many lifetime passions, he was a realtor; member of the Club Manager's Association of America; longtime member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus.
Edward is survived by his devoted wife, Rena; daughters, Lisa Love of Naples, Resa (Justin) Burch of Springfield, IL, Rita (Randy) Weaver of Lovington, IL, Roy (Pauline) Love of Jessiville, AR, Edward Thompkins Jr. and his wife, Angie of Shaker Heights, OH.
He will also be dearly missed by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL 34109 on Wednesday, May 18th (TOMORROW) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Service at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Edward's name may be made to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 5260 28th Avenue SW, Naples, FL 34116, or any charity of your choice.

I am deeply sadden by the news that ED feel asleep in the arms of our LORD. We knew so many people together in N.J. & PA., yet we only knew each other for a short time. He will truly be missed by all, who's life in touched. Bill Giris

I'm sorry to hear of Ed's passing.He was a very good friend, and my sponsor for the Knights of Columbus. We'll greatly miss him in our lives and at St. Elizebeth Seton. Love ya always Brother!
