Emmett Furlong Obituary
Mr. Furlong is survived by his children; Paige (Peter) Bjorn of Pewee Valley, KY, Karen (Kevin) McDonald of New Albany, IN, David E. (Julia) Furlong of Pekin, IN and Stacey (Blaine) Todoroff of Louisville, KY; stepsons, Richard (Nora) Abel of Jeffersonville, IN and John (Elizabeth) Abel of Loveland, OH; his best friend and partner, Margaret "Peggy" McKenna of Bonita Springs; sister, Carrie (Craig) Ashton of Bonita Springs; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Jane H. (nee Held) Furlong in 2004; his brother, Timothy Furlong; and sister, Mary Ellin "Pindy" Shine.
Services will be held in Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.

It was with great sadness that I heard from my sister Nancy that " Uncle Fuzz " had passed. My thoughts were of all the laughter and good times that we had shared. Uncle Fuzz will always hold a special place in my heart.
He is looking down upon us, with Aunt Jane, Aunt Penty and my father Timothy with pride and joy on what a beautiful family that he had the pleasure of being around...

I thank my Lord Jesus for giving us such a humble, loving, and giving father that I wouldn't trade for the world! We all had great times on trips and boat rides. We had a lot of fish stories to tell also. I even had fun with building projects. Dad we will miss you til the day we meet you again! Love David
